He has over 21 years of experience in the hospitality industry. Since joining the company in July 2021, Miguel has been instrumental in leading our revenue management department. He currently oversees a diverse portfolio of 40+ properties across the U.S. and Mexico and supervises a team of two revenue managers, fostering a culture of performance excellence and continuous improvement.
Miguel has developed and implemented comprehensive revenue strategies aimed at maximizing room revenue , profitability, and market share. His broad expertise spans revenue optimization, distribution, channel management, marketing strategy, performance monitoring and deep market analysis. His extensive experience covers both franchised and independent hotels and resorts ranging in size from 39 to 630 rooms across California, Washington, Oregon, Colorado, New Mexico, Texas, Arkansas, Illinois, Indiana and internationally in Cabo San Lucas and Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.
A graduate of Universidad Del Valle de Atemajac ( Mexico) with an associate degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management ( 1991), Miguel credits the hospitality industry for shaping his career. It has cultivated in him a strong foundation in customer service, adaptability , and strategic thinking, while sharpening both his technical capabilities in revenue management and his leadership and interpersonal skills.
Miguel continues to demonstrate a dynamic, forward- thinking approach that adds value for hotel owners, management companies and guests alike.
