This is FHG’s 2nd extensive Renovation of Marriott’s Fairfield Inn & Suites in 2019.
Overview
- Located in Texarkana, in Bowie County, Texas, at the 3 meeting points of Texas, Arkansas, and Louisiana
- The Fairfield Inn and Suites was built in 2007, with a 7-year term agreement.
- Fine Hospitality Group stepped in to manage and operate the property to assist the ownership to retain the Marriott brand for the property affiliation.
- FHG’s procurement and development team have started on the renovation of the hotel, starting with room refreshments, flooring change, and wall updates. Estimated time for completion is 3rd quarter of 2019.
- Room Revenue Impact: We have planned to do renovation in slower time of the year & constantly working with the General Manager & crew to minimize the Revenue Loss.
- Challenge: Remote location; and requirement of a well-organized work & supplier coordination.
